Hope you are enjoying the holidays and the new year. As part of my wave of New Year Motivation (NYM), I have decided it makes the most sense if I leave Lawn Chair to start my own blog. It’s clear – probably from all the posts I’ve written – that my interests are strikingly different than the rest of the blog contributors. I’m not sure of the details yet, but I hope to set it up and make the first post by the end of the month. 

Hopefully, the (handful of?) loyal Lawn Chair readers – or if we don’t have any of those… the other contributors… will check out my blog once it’s up to see if it’s any good, or tell me straight up if it’s a crock of shit. I would appreciate the honesty. I think I’m a terrible writer, but maybe I could get better at it if I wrote on a regular basis. Who knows. 

So, with that… onward to 2009! I hope you have all made some sweet NYR (New Year’s Resolutions) with your own NYM.
